Jesus Wants to Restore You
Today I want to encourage you. If you are feeling alone, at a low, or simply just like things aren't going to get better, hear this: The Lord is the author of New Life. When we look at the story of Ruth we can see how the Lord sees Ruth and Naomi and their hurt and He doesn't just leave them in the hurt, He redeems them and their story! Something I think that people can often over look is that the story of the Gospel is one of literally bringing New Life. Jesus dies on the cross for you and for me so that we can experience new and eternal life in His goodness and glory.
One of the most beautiful things about Jesus is that not only does He feel our pain and take it about himself (Jesus wept when Lazarus died) BUT He doesn't want us to be left there (moments later He raises Lazarus from the dead!). Whether its friendships or sickness or loneliness or family struggles, the Lord can and wants to restore and redeem the situation. And sometimes he does that in a way we would never expect! When our hearts are open and believing in what He can do, He will move!
The Lord cares about every detail, every moment, every breath you take; the Lord knows it and He cares! Psalms 139 "“You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.”
There is no broken place that is too dark or too broken for God to restore and make new. He is good and He is God. He loves sooo hard and sooo much and He wants to love you and make you new!!
